Ibni Forsa is a practical training programme designed to pass on the technical skills involved in the preservation and restoration of the urban heritage of the ancient city of Tunis. Run from April to June 2026, this programme enabled young participants to develop their skills through practical workshops and hands-on experience on building sites. Under the supervision of expert craftsmen and heritage specialists, participants learnt about various techniques and trades such as wood restoration, painting, electrical work and the preservation of architectural heritage... The "Ibni Forsa" project is an initiative led by the organisation "Madinaty", with the support of the Abdullah Al Ghurair Foundation and the Tunisian Foundation for Development, in partnership with the Association for the Preservation of the Ancient City (ASM) and the Higher Institute of Heritage Trades of Tunisia (ISMPT).
