Al Kasbah Mosque

Built from 1231 to 1235, it is located at the place of the Kasbah. It is the second mosque to be built in the Medina after the Zitouna. It was forbidden to have more than one mosque serving the Friday preaching, so it was first used as a court mosque for the sovereign rulers who lived in the Kasbah.
